1. Caucasian Shepherd

The Caucasian Shepherd, also known as the Caucasian Ovcharka, is a massive breed that can weigh up to 200 pounds. For inexperienced owners, its size alone can be intimidating. With proper training, however, this dog can become a loyal and protective companion. Originating from Russia and surrounding regions, the breed was developed to guard and herd livestock. Its strength and confidence make it a capable guardian, but without proper socialization, it can become aggressive and difficult to control.
