27. French Mastiff


The English Mastiff represents a giant breed, known simply as the Mastiff by the National Kennel Club. They require abundant energy and regular exercise. These dogs demonstrate robustness and possess strong protective instincts. Their size, huge paws, and a bite force of 552 psi can make them threatening, but with proper care, they often become gentle and reliable family protectors. They are best suited to homes without small children due to their size.
