34. Japanese Jindo


In Korea, the Jindo represents a popular hunting and guard dog. With keen hearing and alertness, this dog remains always on watch. The Jindo demonstrates loyalty and protectiveness, only becoming dangerous when sensing a threat. They are said to react aggressively if they or their owner are endangered. Their high prey drive means they must be socialized before bringing home small pets or children.
