Baking soda is an excellent choice for oral hygiene. Studies show it removes plaque and whitens teeth more effectively than regular toothpaste. You can simply dip your toothbrush in a mix of water and baking soda before brushing. Additionally, baking soda makes a great mouthwash due to its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Mix half a glass of water with a teaspoon of baking soda, swish it in your mouth, and spit it out to clean areas brushing might miss.
