3. Treats Canker Sores



Canker sores are small, painful ulcers inside the mouth that don’t spread and often appear after eating fatty foods. While they usually heal on their own, the pain can be intense. Use the baking soda mouthwash described in #2—one to two teaspoons of baking soda diluted in half a glass of water—to reduce pain and speed up healing.
