A Toy Figure Leans Back Beside a Door

A small cowboy character sits on a low brown base, leaning backward with both arms extended toward a broad, flat piece in front of him. His yellow checked shirt, red neckerchief, dark trousers, and brown hat make the figure’s outfit easy to distinguish. The base and the piece beneath his hands share a dark brown color, while small gear-like details appear near his feet. Behind him, a pale wooden door fills much of the left side of the frame. The pose creates a diagonal line from the character’s shoulders through his arms to the low object at the front, giving the still arrangement a sense of motion. His face tilts upward, but the image offers no need to assign a particular thought or story to that expression. The door and wooden floor establish an ordinary indoor setting, and their warm grain contrasts with the smooth, colorful figure. Because the character sits close to the door’s lower edge, the scale difference between the toy and the surrounding architecture becomes especially clear. The small scene invites attention to its posture, costume, and carefully arranged parts.
