Playful Bathroom and Household Designs Turn Everyday Storage Into Characterful Displays

A pencil-shaped caddy with a sunny desk-side scene

A bright yellow pencil-shaped container takes center stage, its long body forming an open compartment for pastel pens and small packets. The red eraser end, white band, and pointed black tip make the silhouette immediately legible, while the broad yellow side gives the object a bold block of color across the desk. A hand is placing a small blister card into the compartment, adding a moment of activity and giving a sense of the container’s scale without establishing what the items are for. The surrounding details keep the composition gentle: daylight falls across the wooden surface, a smiling flowerpot sits near the window, and a small flower drawing is pinned to the wall. These elements echo the caddy’s cheerful palette without competing with its strong horizontal shape. Pens rise above the rim at varied angles, creating a loose cluster of blue, pink, and gold lines. The scene brings together familiar stationery forms and a tidy tabletop arrangement, with a little visual humor in the oversized pencil doing the job of a desk organizer.
