A suspended path through a forested gorge

The walkway occupies the center of the view, leading toward a small bridge tower between steep, green cliffs. Its glass-like floor reflects the sky and the figures walking along it, while metal railings border the route. Heavy suspension cables enter from the upper corners and angle inward, guiding the eye toward the distant crossing. Their sweeping lines contrast with the walkway’s straight edges and the rugged, broken forms of the surrounding rock faces. Several visitors are visible along the path, spaced at different distances. Their presence offers scale, while the valley remains the dominant subject. Dense trees cover the upper slopes, and pale exposed rock shows through in tall patches on both sides. Above, bright blue sky and scattered clouds provide a lighter counterpoint to the shaded gorge. The composition is strongly centered, yet the opposing cliffs and the cables create a sense of enclosure around the route. The clear floor, reflections, and receding handrails make the walkway’s perspective especially noticeable without obscuring the landscape around it.
