A steep stairway framed by mist and cliffs
A long, narrow staircase rises from the lower edge of the scene toward a large opening in the sheer rock above. Viewed from a distance, the steps form a slender vertical line through a broad landscape of forest and cliff. Tiny visitors along the route make its height legible without overwhelming the view. A waterfall threads down the left-hand slope, while low clouds soften the upper ridges and give the stone walls a muted, atmospheric appearance.
Unlike the closer perspective of the first scene, this view places the route within a much wider setting. The staircase seems almost suspended between the entrance structures at the bottom and the pale gap in the mountain. Dark green vegetation fills the lower slopes, creating contrast with the gray rock and white mist. The result is a strong study in scale: a carefully organized human pathway set against cliffs whose irregular surfaces dominate nearly the entire frame.
